With Finals quickly approaching, I had an interesting discussion with my Honors counselor about rising above and beyond the call of duty.. and its funny how different this world would be if everyone gave a 100% effort in everything they did. Just a little food for thought.. If we treated the world like the UC grading system a C would be average, a B would good, and A would be going above and beyond.**
(**Now if your Asian an A would mean Average, B would mean Bad because your below average, and C would mean Crap - KEV JUMBA- just had to throw that in).
So if 99.9% is good enough than..
- 12 newborns would be dropped by the physician or given to the wrong parents every day
- 18,322 pieces of mail would be mishandled every hour
- Two million documents would be lost by the IRS this year
